To create an account on Hoardboard. First, navigate to the top of the page and find the sign-in button. From the sign-in page, choose to sign-up. Enter your email address, choose your account type and decide on a secure password. You’ll now be able to upload a profile picture and enter your username creating your new account.
To create or connect a stripe account, go to account settings and navigate your way to payment information. Here you can connect your Stripe account by following the on-screen instructions.
Listing an item is easy! In the top bar, choose List an Item. Enter your listing title and choose a category. Add an item description and add the item's condition. Upload the item's image using the item uploader. List to buy it now or trade with other users. Enter the item's price and confirm your listing!
Trading on hoardboard is the safest way to make sure you get value back for your items. In the top bar, choose List an Item. Enter your listing title and choose a category. We have no fees for delisting an item, so if you change your mind or your item sells elsewhere you can take the item down by going to the item’s page and choosing to delete listing. Once you delete a listing you will not be able to get it back and will need to relist it again if you change your mind.
You can contact a seller by clicking their name and navigating to their profile page. On their page click the message icon by their name and sending your message to them.
If an item has been cancelled this means the item has been sold or traded with another user. You can send and receive multiple trade requests so don’t worry if this happens.
When you sell an item we take a 6% fee per item.
Trading is currently free during our BETA.
Hoardboard is a new way to buy, sell and trade online. We offer cheaper fees than eBay and have better security than selling through Facebook Marketplace. Our platform is dedicated to making sure collectors like you feel secure in selling and trading online.
In all honesty, we are unsure. We will end the beta once we have full confidence that our platform is tweaked perfectly to your needs. We are designing and developing new features to give you the information you need to make great decisions when buying and selling online whilst actively seeking feedback from collectors everywhere.
If you are unhappy with the product you have received for whatever reason get in touch and we may be able to issue a refund. We are unable to cover damages due to the postal service.
Once you have accepted a trade it is final. When the item arrives at our facilities we will check the items to make sure they are as described. We use image recognition and our best due diligence to spot fakes and other potential risks.
If you spot a fake on our site, or if you think you have received a fake or counterfeit item, get in touch with us. We take every step to prevent this from happening, if you do happen to have a suspicion of an item on our site, please do get in touch.
